An introductory conversation is intended to reflect on where the organisation currently stands and what is happening, without a pitch or a predefined story. Instead, it is an open discussion to explore whether there are meaningful points of connection.
During this first conversation, we clarify where the need lies and whether my way of working is a good fit. Sometimes this confirms what was already felt; at other times it helps to bring choices into sharper focus.
If there is sufficient ground to continue, this is followed by a more in-depth conversation in which we look together at direction, intended outcomes and the context in which these need to take effect. This provides a solid basis for defining the form and scope of the collaboration.
The purpose of these conversations is clarity, for both sides.
